Description

Players in this course will learn the beginnings of how to use the bodhrán as an accompanying instrument for singers, instrumentalists, and larger ensembles. Topics covered will include basic beats, playing styles, Jig and Reel Rhythms, instrument care, maintenance and more.  Some music theory will be covered but reading music is NOT required.

Attendees are expected to have their own bodhrán.
